That's all for this extremely hilarious Taiwanese show host duo. Thank you so much everyone who visited the site for you kind support and all your comments. I am so glad what I do here is being appreciated.
I will keep posting the steps, and this time it shows a lot of changes from one stage to another. The outline stage this round is more like japanese manga style I think ^^ And then the light shading stage was weird looking this time(usually I like this stage the most as things start to come alive). Iit's been great fun drawing these two celebrities, especially with the hair. Thank you Show Lo and Alien Huang, you two are great entertainers!

Very nice and delicate as usual, Alex. They just look so happy and a bit cheeky too. Well done!
ReplyDeleteAlex, this is awesome! I love looking at step-by-step posts so thanks for doing that. Very nice rendering - you can tell by your drawing that these guys are funny. You definitely conveyed personality with your work.
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic one, Alex. How long does this process take? ...Just wondering, for us short-attention span people!
ReplyDeleteAmazing. Simply amazing, the way you capture faces.
ReplyDeleteHi Alex, Your sketches are always so so wonderful! And I love the way you post the different stages of your sketches..Love their expressions here! :) :)
ReplyDeleteI really love how you can tell that these guys love to entertain and are just waiting for a chance to show everyone how funny they are. You really inspire all of us that if we follow step by step, then anyone can make a drawing come to life.
ReplyDeleteProud of you as always.
Alex Neck and throat shading is really solid here, and everything else is up to your standard, which raises the portrait bar for us all :) capturing individual personalities and energy. Simply great.
ReplyDeleteAlex, somehow I got a bit behind in your post. I think the Alien Huang portrait is amazing! I could have sworn you have art school training. Hard to believe.. In this picture the hair is again phenomenal (maybe you should be a stylist? :) ), but the expression of the guy on the left especially is so subtle and well-done. Did you and Raena ever read my response re the get-together on my blog? Maybe we can work it out (I'd love to) but I'm a bit further away (14 hours from Baton Rouge) and a bit tangled in responsibility. But keep me in the loop and who knows. Oh, and thanks for the honest response (no whitewash) on my last post. Love that. Letting my pictures do the talking for some time to come hereafter so don't worry..
ReplyDeleteAnother fantastic drawing! You can tell from how well you captured their expressions that these two are comedians. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteThank you very much everyone! :) I am glad I am able to show that they are funny, and thank you Dan...I'd take that stylist part as a compliment Heeeheeeheee!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you approve too Tanna, it means a lot to me ;)
