This is just another attempt of a celebrity sketch, so Yui fans please don't get angry if you think it doesn't look at all like her, because I know it doesn't :) But I am showing the stages again, showing how it was done, I hope you like that.
Thanks again for all the comments left on my previous drawing. I really do appreciate every word there, and that gives me a lot of motivation to work on the next piece everytime. Happy drawing everyone! ^^
I don't know about Yui so can't tell whether this looks like her or not - but whatever, it is a beautiful drawing. you have really brought out the textures of the different elements in the sketch.

I don't know Yui, either, but the drawing is lovely! Yes, I agree, the textures are exceptional. Well done! It must be frustrating to have all the difficuties you're experiencing. I hope things improve soon. nancy

And I beg to differ - I looked up Yui on Google Images to check the likeness (only because of your comment), and I think you definitely captured her. :D
ReplyDeletehahah, yeah, he was the one who introduced me to YUI even though I am the one who is Japan-crazy. I think this looks incredibly like her, and this has to be one of my favorites to date. Very beautiful girl, very beautiful drawing. :)
